Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp confirmed that forward Divock Origi is a doubt to face Swansea City this weekend due to a knock picked up in training this week.
“Maybe Divock. He got a little knock on his foot and we had to do a few more assessments, but in the end it is nothing major.
“Maybe it’s a little bit too short a period until the game, but we have to see. That’s all at the moment.”
Klopp told the media in his pre-match press conference that Origi, who might still be able to face Swansea if he passes a fitness test, is the only injury going into the weekend and the subsequent international break.
The 21-year-old has yet to start in a Premier League match this season, making four appearances off the bench.
