Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola confirmed that midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will only miss up to three weeks with a hamstring injury suffered over the weekend against Swansea City.
"Kevin is not a big injury," Guardiola said in his pre-match news conference. "In two and a half or three weeks, maybe, he will be ready.
"Dr Cugat is the best doctor in the world and, with him, we know we are so safe."
The club feared De Bruyne would miss around a month, but now it looks likely the Belgian international will be back after the upcoming international break in October following his impressive start to the season that has featured two goals and four assists in six Premier League matches so far.
