Liverpool midfielders Roberto Firmino and Georginio Wijnaldum were held out of training ahead of the club's cup match with Derby due to injuries while forward Daniel Sturridge was also kept out.
Sturridge was subbed off against Chelsea in what Jurgen Klopp called an uninspired performance that lacked energy as the club's lone forward up top since Firmino was a last-minute scratch after sustaining an ankle injury in training.
That didn't stop the Reds attack from dismantling Chelsea's defensive setup in a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Dejan Lovren and Jordan Henderson.
However, the trio are not expected to play against Derby County on Tuesday when Liverpool faces the Championship side in the League Cup.
